Build your self-worth

Question
“I have been in my current position for two years and I am not happy. I don’t know what is wrong. The worst thing is that it is affecting my energy in life. I don’t know what to do, I just need help.”

Answer:
This is the most personal article I have ever written. Some of you will not understand it. Some of you will feel as if the words were written privately for you.

I counsel many people who are in this very situation and I often learn that this issue has nothing to do with your work but rather your self-worth. Do you believe that you are valuable? Last night, at 11:42 a.m., a friend told me something that shook me to my core. The manifestations of lack in our lives can all be traced back to our feelings of being unlovable. Do you feel unlovable?

Everything you have in your life is linked to your self worth. You are special. You are unique. You are one of a kind and you deserve to be on this earth. You are here to play out your song and to be self-expressed. You are on this earth for a reason. You are a caring and giving person. You deserve to receive in return. You are worthy of abundance and you deserve to be happy. You are more worthy than you can ever imagine. Why you might ask? Because you are here with the rest of us. You are a very gifted person and no one else has what you have. We are waiting for you to share these gifts with us. You do not have to continue to feel this way.

Next step
You must get involved in activities that reinforce your self worth and you must be aware that you were given one thing above all else: Free will. Use this beautiful gift to its full potential to change your behavior. Ask for help from those you trust.

Weekly remedy
From one human being to another, trying his best just like you, I tell you without reservation these words: “You are loveable and I believe in you.”
